Your blog is one of those that I seriously worship for the quality of the writing. I'm sending and have sent other people here, not by linking, but by telling them in person to go and read your stuff. It's some of the most interesting, funny, and entertaining around.
Now that I got the criticism out of the way, I would say that any publisher who rejects your work for freelance writing is in need of medical help. Please call the next hospital and have them send an ambulance over, likely that publisher has had a stroke from the heat.
